We are so very fortunate to have found Willchris Kennels.
We are so very fortunate to have found Willchris Kennels. Having tried a previous kennel for boarding before for our dog Vader. I can say confident staff and experience go along way. Kendra, Olivia all of the staff are amazing and well trained. The groomer as well. Vader is anxious and no one has been able to do his nails yet till now or bathe him. Thank you so much to all of you. I highly recommend Willchris kennel for your fur baby.

Amazing, fun and safe place for our pups!
This review is long overdue. The staff at Willchris are excellent, they have done some amazing upgrades to the property and they clearly care deeply about the dogs. My dogs run right into the Kennels when we arrive so excited for some fun time with other pups and the wonderful staff. They also go above and beyond getting and sharing photos and videos of the dogs so you can see how well they are doing. Thank you guys so much for being amazing and providing a safe fun place for our pups whenever we need it.

Love this kennel, they are able to accommodate my flexible working hours and it's in a neighborhood you can trust. The workers are friendly and professional. They post pictures of your dog on their IG account showing that your dog is getting exercised and having fun. They seem like a very engaged group that really cares about the animals. 10/10

Amazing staff. They took care of my anxiety riddled pit bull and cared for her like they would their own pup. Most kennels wouldn’t take Lexi in because of her breed and didn’t look past it. I can’t say enough good things about the people and facility. Lexi also has medication and isn’t easy to handle but they made her feel at ease and updated me daily with pictures to ease my mind as well. Absolutely love the people who truly love your fur baby. Hands down amazing staff.

Patiently cares for our reactive and anxious GSD
My German shepherd Monty struggles with anxiety and reactivity and Willchris Kennels have been really patient with my dog. We have only been to Willchris twice for daycare so far, but they always give feedback and suggestions on how to make his stay more comfortable. I really appreciate this place as they are very understanding and do not discriminate on the breed. I would highly recommend!

I feel so lucky to have found Willchris! We have a nervous rescue and he absolutely loves all of the amazing staff. They are very knowledgeable with dogs and know how to pair him with appropriate play mates to set him up for success. He always comes home very calm and content. On top of that, the property is always very clean and they are great about posting pictures of the dogs in their care. Thank you to all of the staff.

The staff here clearly take time to understand and recognize your pet's needs and pair them up with appropriate dogs for them to make friends during their stay. The staff at the kennel are absolutely amazing!
The staff at the kennel are absolutely amazing! I am actually from Kelowna but drive my dogs to this kennel for proper care. I have a reactive dog that requires medication 3 times a day, and I never worry about whether she is well taken care of or not! They care for both my dogs as if they are their own. My dogs have many caring Aunties from this kennel!

This place is FANTASTIC, the few negative reviews on here do not reflect the Willchris crew and how they run things. Every staff member I've interacted with have been kind and attentive and clearly love the dogs they take care of. They have been so accommodating to my dog's needs and very patient with any questions myself or my partner has had as we navigated our first time bringing our dog to daycare. They are super quick and responsive with emails, phone calls, etc. and it makes me feel confident that even when life is busy I can trust my dog with them, that she is well taken care of and getting lots of playtime and attention. <h2>THE BEST PART(s):</h2> They don't have ANY breed discrimination - finding care for our pitty has been hit and miss or more expensive until we found Willchris. On top of that the pricing is, to me, very budget friendly based on other nearby daycares we have looked into. Our dog is ZONKED after we bring her home and has never slept so hard in her life (photo attached post daycare). If anyone has any hesitations I highly recommend booking a tour with them (you can bring your dog!!) to check out the space they have, meet some of the staff - it's a great way to introduce first time doggos to daycare and get the vibe of the place!

We have a 4-month-old Italian Mastiff. We have been searching for a daycare for Romeo for the past month and came across Willchris and glad we found them kennel property is big and clean their professional and super friendly staff is 10/10. Our boy came home after a full day and slept like a bear through the night. Thanks again Guys wouldn’t trust anyone else with Romeo!

Everyone takes excellent care of our dog and he enjoys every drop off. The last visit was a 1 night stay over Halloween and we were pleasantly surprised to see the care and effort to include the dogs in a Halloween photoshoot. Glad to know we have a caring place to watch Archie for a day or longer.

They cared for our dogs Cookie and Scooter just like they were their own!
Over the years we have tried several kennels in the south surrey area. From refusal to take our 13 year old corgi to both our dogs showing signs of neglect (some injuries and lack of cleanliness), we were incredibly worried for our 18 day visit to Italy this year. Thankfully we found Willchris kennels. They cared for our dogs Cookie and Scooter just like they were their own. Both have medicines to be given twice a day and the old corgi, Scooter, has some arthritic issues and recovered from major surgery only a year ago. The ladies at Willchris were very responsive and when we picked up our dogs after 18 days they were bright, clean, and happy. I cannot recomment Willchris enough. A lot of investment for the small dogs including wood chips and a shade structure separate from the big dogs.

Our anti-social dog fell in love with this place!
We brought our two rescue dogs for overnight boarding for the first time with this kennel and the experience was great. Our dogs don’t usually enjoy kennels and will be anxious and ready to leave once we pick them up but after leaving the boys with Willchris for 3 nights our dogs seemed like they enjoyed their stay. The staff notified us that bobby (our anti-social dog) even played around with other dogs. Both Bobby and Loui ate their food with no problems and the staff was able to administer bobby’s heart murmur medication with no issues. They were very efficient and if they noticed something off about the dogs they gave us a quick call to confirm things were normal. The staff was super friendly, easy to work with and very accommodating. We will definitely be using them again in the future.

I love the early drop off and late pickup and the laid back let dogs be dogs attitude. They have large yards for plenty of running and playing along with individual or shared inside spaces for resting times. My boy always comes back tired and happy and it doesn’t break the bank

The staff clearly love the dogs.
We had to board our dog for a few days and we are so glad we chose Willchris. We brought him to day care a few times to get him used to the location and staff before the boarding date and he had so much fun at daycare. Due to our 7 didn't have as much time to get him used to it as I would have preferred. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing boarding to plan ahead and take their dogs in a few times before boarding. The staff clearly love the dogs. They made our nervous boy more comfortable and remember him so well even after just the first meeting. Our guy can be a handful and has lots of anxiety, but it seems to have gone as well as it possibly could. He came home happy, tired and calmer than I thought he would be. We definitely recommend Willchris and will continue to use daycare and boarding if needed.

New staff and management have done an amazing job
Been bringing my dog Raja here for 3 years and never regretted it once. It’s been under new management as is the last year I think and the new staff and management have done an amazing job. The facility has been upgraded , new fencing and Raja is never hesitant when I drop him off as he used to a bit in the past. That’s a good sign , once again amazing place and people

Our dogs are always be well taken care of
We have been taking our dogs to Willchris Kennels for a decade because we are confident that they will always be well taken care of. Our current dog is a senior rescue who wasn't properly socialized. She is great with people but reactive to other dogs and Jerry and his team make sure that she is exercised on her own. Jerry understands dogs and Willchris is the only kennel we ever use!

I would highly recommend Willchris Kennels. My dogs mean everything to me so when I go on holidays or out of town for business I want to know they are well taken care of. I am happy to say that my veterinarian uses Willchris Kennels as well which again gives me a great deal of comfort. I appreciate the fact that the dogs are outside 6 times a day interacting with the staff and other dogs. Our puppy loves Willchris Kennels
Our puppy loves spending her days outside playing with her fur friends at Willchris Kennels. She is well taken care of and comes home tired and nap ready. The only thing I wish we saw more of would be photos of the dogs.

The caretakers at the kennel make sure that he comes home a tired puppy
Our Boxer Oscar has been going to Willchris for about two years now, he goes five days a week and when we go away on weekends. He puts his leash in his mouth and waits at the front door to be taken to see Gerry because he rather eat breakfast at Willchris with him and the crew. The caretakers at the kennel make sure that he comes home a tired puppy! So happy to have found this place!!

Awesome place to leave our puppy
Our puppy, Belle stayed here recently. She had the most awesome time! I had to go back to pick up her bed, and she wanted to go right back in. Totally would recommend this kennel. I think Belle was disappointed she had to come home.

An excellent long-term stay environment for any type of dogs
Willchris kennels is a great place to lodge ones dog when necessary. Gerry Strutinski has created an excellent environment for dogs who require either short term or long term boarding. We have been boarding dogs at Gerry's for over 20 years.

A Big thank you to Gerry and all the staff at Willchris for their care, patience and love with our big guy "Louie". They took a rather strong minded, somewhat antisocial german sheperd and re-socialized him with his peers. Louie recently passed away but I will always remember how he would squeak and talk as we drove up to Willchris, he loved being there. Without a doubt this is an exceptional place for dogs to be. Spacious kennel space for each dog
I love the fact that the dogs can sleep in their own beds and have space to move around in the kennels. They go out to play regularly, and are also always monitored! Keep up the great work. I never worry about Maggie when she is at Willchris.

Truly well look after our dogs
I'm always happy with the service I receive for my terriers from Willchris Kennels. Both terriers can be a handful (as terriers are) but they really look after them and make sure that they come home in one piece. I would recommend them for short and long term stays for your dog(s)!

Don't take your dogs anywhere else, but Willchris Kennels
My partner and I were in an emergency situation where we needed dog boarding for 10 days. We called Gerry after hours and he took our pup Floyd in. Floyd was so happy at Willchris, he was sad to leave. We will definitely bring our dog here again!
