Privacy Policy

What we collect

We only collect what you type into one of our two forms. We do not collect anything in the background.

The contact form asks for your first name, last name, email address, phone number (optional), the subject of your enquiry, and your message.

The booking request form asks for your first name, last name, email address, phone number (optional), the service you want, information about your dog, your check-in and check-out dates, and the details of your request.

What we do with it

When you submit a form, the website sends its contents to our own email inbox as a single message, using an ordinary email (SMTP) connection. Your email address is set as the reply address so we can write back to you.

We use that information to answer your question and to arrange your dog's stay. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not sell, rent or trade it.

Where it is stored

The website has no database and no customer accounts. It does not keep a copy of your submission — once the email has been sent, the only copy is the message sitting in our inbox, which we keep until we delete it.

To stop automated spam, the server briefly remembers the network address a submission came from so it can count how many arrived in the last ten minutes. That count is held in memory only, is never written to disk, and disappears when the window expires or the server restarts.

Cookies, analytics and tracking

This website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising or conversion pixels, and no social media trackers, and it does not build a profile of you or share anything with an advertising network. Our fonts and images are served from our own server, so simply reading these pages does not send a request to anyone else.

Links to other services

Registration and account management happen on Gingr, a separate client-management portal run by another company. When you follow one of our links to Gingr you leave this website, and anything you enter there is handled under Gingr's own privacy policy rather than this one. The same is true of our Facebook and Instagram pages.

Your rights

Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) applies to us. Under it you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you and to see it, and the right to have anything inaccurate or incomplete corrected. You can also ask us to delete an enquiry you sent us.

Email or call us using the details below and we will help. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you may raise it with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
